Face Frames vs. European Frameless
A. Face Frames
A 1.25" Structural "Face" Frame is added to the front of the cabinet box. It adds structure to the cabinet and allows us to scribe the cabinets perfectly to fit the wall shape and avoids the use of fillers in corners as well, instead of just a veneer tape on the front of a "frameless cabinet."
B. European Frameless
A 3/4" plywood box cabinet only. The front edge of the box is covered with veneer or painted. It's commonly used as a money saving option and to give you a modern clean line look See below.
C. Face Frame Cab with Doors
Inset style is shown above, but we also use small face frames on our full overlay style for a high end quality.
For Inset style: The Doors sit flush inside the cabinet opening. It's a traditional style and the craftsmanship is appreciated by the people who choose this style.
D. European Frameless with Doors.
The Doors Cover the Face of the cabinet, so that you do not see much of the cabinet between the doors/drawers. for a clean-line modern look.
*We achieve this same look using small 1" Face Frames though, for the previous benefits mentioned.
